I am doing this”Free Mama Earth” charitable campaign for our children and future generations, so they can continue to breathe fresh air and live in a world with clean drinking water; simple things that we take for granted. Like my dear mother used to say: “you never miss your water till your well runs dry.”
Mystical, metaphorical and literal, her words still ring true. Sometimes we take for granted loving people in our lives – mates, children, friends, and don’t consistently show them appreciation. Not until they disappear from our lives do we really recognize their value and importance. Similarly, we take for granted that the air we breathe will be fresh and life sustaining. We assume relatively clean water, that at the very least won’t kill you, comes out of our faucets. Let’s do something now, while there is still time, to protect our natural resources, before time’s up. We don’t want to be like wish I would have done this or that.
