As a mother, attorney and artist, I have dedicated my life to protecting children and fighting against injustice. I am participating in the dressemberfoundation campaign throughout the month of December to #StopSlavery. The United Nations estimates that there are 2.5 million enslaved people in the world today. Nonprofit organizations like International Justice Mission conclude the number is much higher.
