Fake news

We might laugh at the guy who believed the fake news story about Comet Ping Pong pizzeria being the Clinton’s child sex slaves headquarters, except he shot a real gun at the D.C. pizza restaurant. That’s an extreme example; most made up stories are harder to detect. For example, TemplePiece“Hillary caught on hot microphone trashing Beyonce with racial slurs.” Facebook and Twitter are full of these kinds of fake news stories. No matter how much evidence publications like New York Times and Washington Post present debunking these “news,” hundreds of thousands of people insist these fake news stories are true.

Companies try to sell me fake Facebook friends and twitter followers,
but I’m keeping it real. “To thine own self be true.” (Act I, Scene 3,
“Hamlet) I’d rather have 1,000 real people following me who enjoy my music and tweets than 1,000,000 imaginary fans.

Real news: My new, original PEACE song is scheduled for release on
Earth Day, April 22, 2017. Also, I will be performing at the Maui,
Hawaii Earth Day festival on April 23, 2017.

One Love,

Aria
